A Certificate of Authorization, or “COA” for short, is a document approved by the Air Traffic Organization that grants an organization permission to perform unmanned aircraft operations (drone operations). Think of it like a Part 107 Remote Pilot’s license, but for your organization rather than an individual. Click here for more information on the differences between Part 107 and a COA. You can count on Terrestrial Imaging to file your COA and get approved fast!
1.
One of our experts will review your airspace in order to properly begin your COA request.
2.
Once we have properly evaluated your airspace, we can create your COA.
3.
Once the document is completed, we submit it to the FAA for comments and concerns.
4.
If necessary, we make revisions to the document based on the FAA’s comments.
5.
The COA is approved! Now your organization can operate drones legally under the guidelines specified in the document.
