The MicaSense Altum is a new, revolutionary 3-in-1 solution with unparalleled sensing capabilities. Altum captures synchronized thermal, multispectral, and high resolution imagery, producing aligned outputs for advanced analytics. Capture data on plant health, phenotype, and water stress all in a single flight.
Synchronized Thermal And Multispectral Imaging
The MicaSense Altum captures 5 multispectral bands - red, green, blue, red edge, near-infrared and has an additional 6th sensor capable of 160 x 120 resolution thermal imaging. All 6 sensors are synchronized and aligned for accuracy.
Plant Health And Digital Surface Models
The combination of the 6 sensors allows you to recreate RGB, NDVI, Thermal, and Digital Surface Models all from one payload.
Downwelling Light Sensor
The Altum comes with MicaSense’s downwelling light sensor. The DLS 2 module features an embedded GPS, 8 light sensors, and 12 directional sensors to maximize accuracy and consistency of data collect throughout varying levels of sunlight.
Calibrated Reflectance Panel
The included CRP 2 has known reflectance values across the visible and near-infrared light spectrum to enable more accurate compensation for incident light conditions.
